Hand-made ornaments

I came up with this fun idea for my son's kindergarten group. I cut all the shapes with my Big Shot. There is a picture of the kid on one side in the scalloped circle frame and the back side is a place to write down a wish. I enjoyed taking pictures of the kids observing their personalities. Some like to pose for a picture, other don't.

While I was working on the ornaments, my son willingly shared about his friends. It was a good opportunity for me to listen and learn. The teachers were very satisfied with this idea. The kids' faces turned out to be great decorations for the tree and later the kids could take the ornaments home as a gift.

If I was still doing Sunday school I would have cased this idea for Christmas! You did a wonderful job Maria and your creativity shines! I bet the kids were happy. Perhaps you could learn a lot about them by what they wished?

Thank you, Jacqueline! I would love to use it for Sunday school one day. I let the teachers write down the kids' wishes. I would love the kids to have memories of how they looked and what they wished when they were 5 y.o. I wish they would not record material wishes but some dreams.. I will ask and see...
