First Christmas card this year

This card was inspired by a challenge at Lily Pad blog.
I just saw that I am late to enter it into the contest, while my husband was away on business trip in Italy I had no computer to upload my pics. But that's ok.

Here's the card. I tried a new fun technique I learned from Betsy Veldman on Simon Says Stamp blog. I used the Hero Arts stamp set I won by leaving a comment on SSS blog. For the background I used an embossing folder, a white crayon and distress inks.
